FOUNDER & Film Director - SASIRABO Emmanuel Muggaga
Emmanuel Sasirabo Muggaga is a Kampala based Photo Journalist and Founder of Sasimages SMC Limited. For a long time in his life Emmanuel had passion for journalism especially telling real stories with a special touch on real life for community development. During his University education, he went to France, for an exchange program in Taize. On his return, he persuaded a team of four young graduates to venture into job creation using their fresh acquired skills from the university to start a newsmagazine which they dubbed Bridge Magazine. The name came as a result of the gap that was always created by the main stream media which was mainly driven by sensational, political and entertainment versions of stories. Because of economic pressure and variance in beliefs his colleagues chose a path of employment and abandoned him. A year later, one of his best secondary friend, Stephen Alinaitwe teamed together with him and carried on the magazine until 2015 when they chose to shelve the News Magazine because Stephen decided to pursue his academic career while Emmanuel chose to grow his Photography and Communication skills.
Emmanuel Joined Media Plus, one of Uganda’s leading production house under the leadership of a renown TV journalist Bart Kakooza as a freelance Photographer. Two year’s letter, Emmanuel was appointed by Bart Kakooza as main Photographer and later, Videographer from 2017 to 2019, allowing him to build an extensive network of industry contacts. This journey culminated in the creation of Sasimages SMC Limited providing him with comprehensive access to all facets of the industry. Emmanuel loves to experiment in multi format storytelling, photography and videography which led him to the world of Compelling Documentary and professional Photography which he is now deeply involved in having completed over 30 documentaries and worked for a number of clients in photography nationally.
Emmanuel’s passion for Documentary making, TV commercials and Photography production led him to start Sasimages, a production company based in Kampala City. Since starting Emmanuel has directed numerous Documentary films including Government of Uganda 23 Directives Issued by President Yoweri Musveni and End-of-Term NRM Manifesto Implementation Unit Video, and The wonders Rubirizi, the Pearl of Uganda is due to be released by end of this year.
Bob Ssenteza - Key member of the Sasimages production team
Bob Ssenteza is a key member of the Sasimages production team, with creative, technical expertise, and strong passion for audiovisual production services. He is a talented creative designer, videographer, motion graphics designer, and video editor with over five years of professional experience in multimedia production.
Throughout his career, Bob has successfully executed numerous documentary and audiovisual projects for government ministries, non-governmental organisations, and other institutions. His expertise spans videography, creative design, motion graphics, and post-production, enabling him to transform ideas and stories into compelling visual productions.
Passionate about his work, Bob is committed to delivering high-quality creative solutions while maintaining professionalism and building strong working relationships with clients. His dedication, creativity, and attention to detail make him an important part of the Sasimages production team.
